Hi Dorothy I am 48 and I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am still waiting for all results from path report but so far I know it's a 2.6 cm tumor, invasive, well differentiated, mammary cancer (unsure exactly where yet). I'm very nervous and scared of everything to come. The unknown is very hard. Any advice you can give how to stay calm? I feel so anxious and weepy!! June 28,2014

Thanks for sharing with me the size of your tumor. It is comforting for me to hear that the sizes of our tumors are about the same. I usually don't run into people with this size so it is comforting for me. I have invasive lobular cancer. What's the name of your cancer? How are you doing currently? Take care Sharon

I have a similar situation. Originally, I was supposed to have a lumpectomy then the tumor turned out to be much larger 6.3 cm so we had to go with mastectomy. My cancer is infiltrating lobular cancer and one of the 5 lymph nodes has microscopic cancer cells. What is the name of your cancer and were any of your lymph nodes involved? Your stage is II A right? thanks
