Hi Cassidy. Not working for me has been a blessing. My side effects alone, from chemo and the side effects meds -- theres no way i could manage my work right now. The stress of no income, is taking its toll. Making applications for assistance to agencies is a full time job!! There has to be a better way, I just havent tapped into it yet. All suggestions welcomed. How is your work situation going. Were you able to leave? How are you feeling, physically. How is treatment plan going? Looking forward to update. Rest easy and take care. Hugs. Yvette

I remember how scary it feels to be diagnosed, but You CAN do this! Take a stool softener the day before chemo and everyday a week afterwards. the Anti naseu meds make you constipated. and Drink as much water as you can! You will do great!

I am almost done with 4 months chemo 6 weeks RAD. First find a doctor you trust, go at it like your are interviewing them for the job of being your oncologist. Don't be shy! Also read a book by doctor Lee, "what your doc won't tell you about breast cancer" its great for figuring out all about our hormonesand the role they play in cancer! It may change your life! I have triple positive stage llA as you do and I am 38. Stop consuming any and all dairy products! Look up Kris Carr on FB!. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Welcome to the site. I am sure that you will find this a friendly place to come when you need someone to talk to. We are all in the same boat when it comes to emotions and feelings about our health. Just know that no question is to silly to ask and if you need to vent because you are having a bad day, we are here for you. I hope you find this site as helpful to you as it has been for me.

Hi Cassidy. Welcome to the site. I see by your postings that you're in need of some guidance. May I recommend you get Dr.Susan Love's Breast Book 5th edition. It is "the bible" for anyone newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Also, please know it is normal to be afraid of the unknown. Take a deep breath and relax because while the road might get rocky for a bit, it will be okay. This site is filled with people trying to get through and help others. I was diagnosed Stage 2B back in November of last year, have been through two surgeries, chemo and I'm currently undergoing radiation. Anything I can help you with - reach out. On a personal note: my boyfriend and I purchased property in Conway a few months ago. Karen
