DaveWaz.....good day...how can I make a change in my profile I just created?

I feel as though I am the only person who has had my cancer.
I had tumor in by lower jaw. All by bottom teeth on the right side were pulled. A bone was taken from my leg and with a metal plate was put into my jaw. As this happened to anyone???

Dear Lord it's Friday again. How many Fridays have I faced with this cancer inside me? I've lost count. But I haven't lost my faith. Because this is the day that every thing turns around for me.

My cancer will be healed this Friday.My pain will go away this Friday. I won't feel sick this Friday.I wont be unloved this Friday. My hair will begin to grow this Friday.I won't want to vomit constantly this Friday.I will thank my doctors and the pharmaceutical companies for all their help this Friday.My family will cry with happiness,this Friday.And I will thank you my GOD for curing me of this disease. This Friday.
I will hear bells in the air and shout horay for me. My eyes open and I wake up. It's only my alarm going off thats right its Friday. I awaken Oh GOD another day with cancer. Oh well I will fight on with GOD at my side and maybe it'll soon be next Friday.the Friday that I'm cured.

Hello, my mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer. And they want to start chemo immediately but I am trying to get her into MD Anderson to see a specialist there since they are the best in the world. I'm overwhelmed with emotion but my mother seems so strong and at peace. She's such a trooper. What advice do you have?

Hi, I know you must be a very busy man. I acknowledge the welcoming messages that you and Greg sent. You have both sent me to The Beginners Guide. I have stage IV and am in hospice care, maybe the beginners guide is a bit late! Perhaps you could flag up key words when someone joins and have a couple of pre written messages more suitable to different circumstances! Just a thought which may help new people to your site t o believe that you take an individual interest. No offence intended and I hope none taken.

Thank you DaveWaz. I am doing well. I take it day by day. Some pain & discomfort but I'm alive! As long as I wake up I'm ok.

U sound like somebody that's a moderator here. Why isn't atypical/aggressive BCC, head, listed as a diagnosis? This site has it for the vulva and penis. More people have it on the head and face. I had to list the wrong diagnosis to even use contact/help. I saw how little help Christie was given when she asked for help. Nobody told her that it buries in, and slowly burrows through the bone and into her brain, and speed is of the essence. I can't even get back into my profile to say what stage I'm in, etc. My profile says incomplete-but it wants me to enter a new cancer---to me this is typical of the ACS.

Thank you. The bad BCC is different than the other skin cancers, as it moves from pore to pore. It's not that visible, and it burrows into the bones and slowly eats the bone out. My doctors told my grandson that it's very caustic and one of the more painful bone cancers. The others metasize quicker and kill quicker, but they respond more favorably to chemo. Chemo doesn't touch this. I know a man, whose back is almost completely covered with these. His 11 year-old son has it on the shoulders and back too. They are in Mobile, Ala. So most of us wait for our brains or innards to fall out. I had mine for years. I couldn't get any doctor to take it out. They thought it was a small cyst. It finally began pressing against a nerve and I found a doctor that would take it out. She said- don't worry it's a cyst. Now I'm missing part of my nose, mouth and area in between. I finished radiation-the rads were cranked up. I'll be taking the next CAT Thurs to see. If taken out while small, a person is in stage one. I was told that I was too pretty to have a needless hole in my face. It's really important for us to connect. There is hardly any info out about this.

Hi Dave - I saw where you had posted to someone that they could drag and drop the journey icons to change the order. I tried this on mine, and it doesn't seem to be working that way. can you double check, or send me more explicit instructions? I'd like to change the order for the clinical trial, and the chemotherapy on my wall.

Thanks for your welcome, Dave, and for the tips. Sorry for the delay in responding. I am just getting started, trying to figure things out, juggling this disease with work, etc. I'm sure you know the drill. :-)
