Thanks for supporting others by answering questions, offering advice and positive wishes! It does make a difference for them to see that other people have been there and are doing OK.

Hi, neighbor. I lived in Bedford & moved to Plano about a year ago so I could help my elderly Dad. Then I was diagnosed with cancer...

I had a hysterectomy with no suspicion of cancer & they found a tumor in a Fallopian tube. Had to call the gynecological oncologist in while I was open on the table! So my laparoscopic hysterectomy became a major incision open surgery. That was worse for me than the chemo!

Finished chemo in February & hair started to grow. I hated wigs & hats. But I know I am lucky they found this before it spread. Blessings & hope you're doing well.

Hi Janet, I'm a fellow Texan, newly diagnosed 6 weeks ago. Surgery is pending funding. Since I'll qualify for Medicare B in July, I just heard from surgeon yesterday that they can refrain billing until then, but go ahead with surgery now. I have a pre-op appt on April 7.

Hi Janet. Still trying to find my way around this site. Also don't do well with computers. Helping sister in law. She is 57 years old. Was diagnosed in Dec and has had 1 round of chemo. She is old fashioned southern country girl. One of eight children. Husband has been disabled for years. I tend to ramble when talking about them because I care so much about them. She has stage 3c endometrial/papalliary cancer. I felt a connection to you because of your age and diagnosis. Would like to communicate with you about your thoughts experiences and feelings so I might understand more about what Judie is going through.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/endometrial-uterine-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
