Hi BadBabs, I love the name by the way! So wonderful that you have so many nieces and nephews, that is fun. And the chemo isn't that bad, I never got sick enough to throw up only a little nauseous at times because the anti-nausea medications now are just great. And I slept through most of it as well, the memory is only a blur to me now. Just let yourself rest and recover, you will get through it just fine. Good luck to you and god bless!

Treatment varies. I had two types of cancer and it had already spread (automatically made me stage IV). I was pretty sick before I finally went to the doctor. I actually had chemotherapy first-1 treatment every 3weeks for a total of 6 treatments. I then had surgery. While recovering, found out the cancer had gone to my brain. Now recovering from brain surgery and radiation.

I am so sorry for your diagnosis. I was shocked when I was diagnosed May 2013 with a rare cancer in what was supposed to be a fibroid tumor in the uterus. I've had several surgeries, chemo, and all of the side effects that come with it. I also have greater faith than ever. REmember that you are never alone. We are here to support you and try to answer your questions. Believe you will beat this. Cancer is evil. YOu can take it down. Believe.
