I've tried several ways to post an answer about ice water therapy for neuropathy--Posting won't work- Ice does work--anyway

Greg-Statins are notorious for causing neuropathy in patients at are sensitive to statin. I had ice packs on 6 times a day from my hips down. With the nature of ice packs--I had huge bags of frozen cut corn and mixed vegetables that I draped over me for 20 minutes at a time.

It took 3 years of this to get back to a normal. One day, my feet were feeling pretty good. I decided to drive myself-I hadn't been able to drive for quite a while. I got into an automatic, and my feet got stuck--the neuropathy was in my ankles and calves. I had to use my hands to pull my feet out. I went in the house, got my vegetable packs out, and I cried while icing my legs and feet. .

Another thing that really helped was doing hamstring exercises after the ice packs, as that forced the muscles to move and increased circulation. I know that in diabetes and statin neuropathy that neuropathy leads to amputation.

I would use ice baths based on my experience. Also the cold feels so good.

Hi there. Sorry to bother you but I think the religious thread has run its course. As I posted, the car is out of gas and needs to be towed away. Comments became my religion versus your religion, with no useful purpose. The thread , in my opinion ,has gone on way too long as did the political thread. These subjects cause wars.
