Remembering Greg

Okay, maybe all of the former members have gone away but I am hoping that maybe THIS thread will get some people talking.

Everyone that was here in the previous "life" of this site knew Greg, and I would say that everyone loved him so very much and respected his opinions and posts. They followed his journey.

One thing I remember about Greg was his ability to make everyone feel welcome. He did his best to make sure everyone had a voice and no-one was overpowered or overshadowed by anyone else if they wanted to be heard (read).

He was very honest with his journey. He shared everything with a sense of optimism and faith, even the times when the news wasn't great. I am striving to live life with his positive attitude and his kind and caring demeanor.

I came to this site with a breast cancer diagnosis, but I am certainly willing and able and eager to learn about the diagnoses of others here. Greg made sure everyone had "a place at the table" so to speak.

Please come back and share a memory of Greg- whether a specific one or just something you admired about him.

Hi, legaljen1969! Carool here (now LoveCats, until I can change it back to Carool). I remember Greg as being dauntless, caring, creative (his furniture), and energetic, despite his formidable cancer troubles and treatments. I’m grateful for his having created WhatNext and in doing so having helped so many people. I miss the connections we formed here, though I’m happy to have maintained contact with three people here, including you.

I am back. Thankfully still cancer free at this point. I do hope to be a more active part of the community.
Thank you so much for talking to the admins and featuring your story.

legaljen1969, thank you so much! I’m very grateful to Nicole of WN for having my story posted here (and I’m grateful to the entire WN community as well).

I hope the old timers will come back, and new people, too. I wish I remembered their handles.
