I just told my siblings I'm having surgery and may have cancer. I haven't heard from 2 siblings for over a year except for family business calls. Now one sibling's spouse texted and wants to chat about how I am. How do I deal with all the hurt feelings? This person has always considered me the black sheep of the family and the scapegoat. I remember their children's and grandchildren's anniversaries and birthdays, yet only receive a quick Happy Birthday text from one of them.
