This is a issue totally unrelated to my recurrent cancer. I had an MRI several months ago and even though I am stage 3 kidney disease, I did what 2 doctors told me to do which was have the contrast dye. This was my 2nd MRI in the last 2 months. My oncologist and pain specialist both had my MRI's and they both said the same thing: "you have the worst back I have ever seen." I had fallen 6-8 times prior to going for help first to my PCP and then the doctor thought he could do a procedure where they put medical grade cement in the fractured places but I will use my walker at home. I have several serious problems going on which take my focus off myself and think of others . My brother. a retired anesthesiologist. has non-Hodgkins disease which we did not know about until recently. He doesn't want to talk about it - my mother did tell me that. He lives in Calif. and at the age of 60 had his 1st and only child. He is very close to his son. He wrote a book and published it so he had 5 -10 copies. The book he wrote to his son is "Trevor" who is 12 now. What a special thing to do.
Be well this flu season A nurse told me it is very important to get a flu shot this year. This end of Oct. is the perfect time to get one. I need to get one since I am older. Best wishes, sending positive vibes your way. Arizona Carolyn
