Good morning everyone,
I am also a breast cancer survivor, in the Name of Jesus!
- I didn't gain any weight on chemotherapy, I could taste and eat everything because of the Holy Spirit leading and guiding me a year prior to finding breast cancer. He completely flipped my diet and what I ate before I found the breast cancer lump. I eventually and slowly stooped all processed foods, sugar and only drank water. I made my own smoothies and juiced fresh fruit juice.
-I started Tamoxifen last October 2019 and immediately saw my waistline, body and belly fat increased. I was already on a totally raw food ( nuts, seeds, fruit and only water), no processed sugar or any animal meat meal plan.
-Keeping our estrogen levels low is what stops cancer growth, in Jesus Name; so why eat animal meat that has its own hormones and the hormones added to produce more of the animals natural bi-products. That would be 3 sets of hormones in our bodies: (1) our own natural hormones, (2) the animal meat we eat and (3) extra additional hormones to "grow", "fatten" the animal.
-Don't you read on organic labels "No GMO or hormones were used?" That tells you that truth about hormones in the food you are eating. FISH is the only "meat" I will eat. Just remember the smaller the fish; the less mercury you're consuming.
-I prayed about weight gain and belly fat, did research and FINALLY! understood how low estrogen and menopause affects our bodies. So even on the meal plan I am currently on, I found increasing fat on my belly and weight gain from 160-170lbs.
-I met a retired bio-chemist who "schooled"/ taught me that our daily intake of any sugar (raw/natural or processed) is supposed to be between 25grams to 50 grams a day! So even my beautiful raw fruits, I have now cut back on my daily intake of sugar.
-I keep a daily food diary to track my sugar. As the retired bio-chemist said to me "It's not a race; it's a sprint"! So the low sugar is my meal plan for life and it also helps; especially now in this Covid-19 era, because low sugar consumption decreases the risk of core morbidities.
-Hopes this helps and please remember that Jesus hears and answers our prayers!
Best Regards to all of you,
