Drug or Chemo Therapy | Hormone therapy

After getting back my sentinel node biopsy results, pathology and Oncotype DX test, all of the results were encouraging and led to the decision to proceed with hormone therapy, Anastrazole. I have had some hot flashes and a few joint pains. I somewhat wonder if I should have waited a bit longer to start taking the medication. I wonder if it is not inhibiting my recovery and causing some of the achiness my surgical arm and shoulder. It has not been as bad as I expected. I had some minimal hair loss, but nothing notable. I had a thyroid panel done as well since I have hypothyroidism. A slight increase in thyroid medication stopped the shedding hair.
I have been on the Anastrozole for about a month, but haven't had any trouble so far. I am pleased about that, but I guess it could still come. I won't have any follow-up now for awhile though because of coronavirus concerns. Doctor is limiting all non-essential appointments. I am okay with it. If I have any serious issues, he can bring me in but I am glad he feels confident in my not coming in right away.
