The modified radical masectomy (w/ 18 lymph nodes removed) wasn't as painful as expected but I wasn't prepared for the long recovery period. Highly recommend PT as soon as possible following surgery

    Hi Russ...Yes I also had a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. If one is going to get pancreatic cancer, that was the one to get...it is the most survivable form. I had a solitary tumor removed, with no chemo or radiation and was lucky enough not to endure carcinoid syndrome. My lung cancer was discovered in my 5 year followup scan. I am a lucky woman!
