Medical marijuana

My fiance has been having chemo since Aug 2020. A year on oxaliplatin and now on irinotecan. He has also been taking capecitabine the whole time. His stomach cramping on the irinotecan has been debilitating and he has no appetite. We are thinking of marijuana to help. Anyone else here try marijuana to help with side effects?
