Family effects

Has anyone else found that terminal cancer seems to tear the rest of the family apart. Mine was very close, but as soon as I got the final terminal diagnosis, everyone is arguing about different things to the point some family members can't be in the room with each other.

I've also discovered dying seems a lot less about the one dying and way more about the survivors. This might just be my particular family dynamic - but just curious if others have run into this problem.
