I have a permanent colostomy due to rectal cancer. It adds about 10 minutes at shower time to get my barrier "good and dry." I change my barrier twice a week, and that adds about 20 minutes. But I've been doing this and most days, it's just part of my daily routine. I just try not to overthink my cancer situation and move on, but I admit - it is a pain sometimes.

Oh my - it varies so much. One day seems fine and the next day is a disaster. I find consistency to be a thing of the past, so frustrating.
