I haven,t, but I've known a number of colorectal cancer patients who developed tumors in their liver to have the procedure. It seems to work for quite a few people. And most people tolerate the procedure pretty well too. I hope that Y-90 will help you.

    Hi Yvonne,
Our daughter had approximately 6-7 Y90 treatments, alternated with as many or more chemoembolization treatments. With the Y90 they first did a “mapping” to see how well it would work and how much radiation leakage there would be. Both types of treatment are targeted and in our daughter’s case they did a good job of shrinking the tumors to the point that liver resection became a viable option. I wrote about some of what she went through on my profile, and I will go back and update. In spite of a very bleak diagnosis she was able to have a liver transplant 6 years after diagnosis of advanced liver cancer and she is now 3 years post transplant doing well.

I wish you the very best.
