started treatment over 1 year ago did great for a while and chemo stoped working they switched hime to auto immune therapy with keytruda pembrolizumab injection has only had 2 treatments and has sores all over left leg and lower back has anyone out there had this type of treatment ? and reaction looking for some type of answer we have Kaiser and they dont offer many choices the ony thing they keep saying is that they can not cure this type of cancer ??
it drives me crazy when I see my husband in pain trying to be brave, jst trying to find out what has worked for others in this type of cancer ? if anyone can send me some info I would greatly appreciated.
thanks

I haven't had that yet, but I am scheduled to have Keytruda myself starting next week. There are others on the site that have had Keytruda with success. Jimmy Carter, the former President, had stage IV melanoma and wasn't given a lot of hope. Keytruda knocked his melanoma out in 6 months. I hope your husband gets a turn around and does better. Sometimes it takes a while for us to adjust to the treatments.0
