Has anyone had excess gas, bloating, belly pains after/during treatments?

I know it wasn't just something I ate. I had treatment last week and almost immediately, I started having an embarrassing case of gas. Belching, farting, the whole gas issue thing. I don't think I've ever had a case like this before. Is this a chemo induced thing?

If you think about it, it makes sense. The chemo that we colorectal cancer patients receive target the colon and rectum so it quite common to experience "gastric" symptoms. Gas X and Beano may help with the gas and belching - even Tums might help with belching. Unfortunately, these symptoms come with the territory.

I have had diarrhea but not the gas issue you're describing.

Yes most definitely...since I started chemo its terrible.
