Evening primrose oil

I have had three surgeries since June of 2017. The initial lumpectomy, then in 2018 removal of a benign cyst and last spring a surgical biopsy that turned into a rather extensive lumpectomy to clean up a large seroma and scar tissue, also benign. As a result of all this messing around I have constant low grade pain in my breast and one spot that send a me through the ceiling if it is touched. When I talked with the surgeon yesterday he suggested I try Evening Primrose oil. I had never heard of it but have since researched it online and it sounds like the proverbial cure all. Has anyone used this and with what results?

I have heard of it but have no personal experience with it. We hope it works for you.

It's been almost eleven years since my lumpectomy and six months after that I had a seroma that opened up.
I had pain for several years, including those zingers of pain. I used an ice pack in the evenings for a good while.
That area is still sensitive if bumped or rubbed.
Don't have experience with evening primrose. Hope it helps.
