How long does it take for your hair to finally grow back once you're done with treatments?

Are there any people here that their hair didn't grow back at all, or grew in so thin it wasn't adequate?

    Mine took about three months before it was half an inch long. And it grew in slowly. But still thick. And darker in color.

    I completed chemo end of Jan 2012. I dumped the hats/scarves in end of April 2012. Was still REALLY short, but I was tired of wearing them.
