The first two days after my exchange I felt pretty good. But today-day 6-I am in so much pain. Stabbing on one side down by ribs and in between implants. Also above one implant. So sore to even touch. Is this normal?

I do remember being very sore after having my implant surgery, which also affects the way you sleep, get up from a sitting position and that causes strain on other body parts. I remember taking Tylenol for the soreness. However, I would recommend calling your doctor as they need to know the amount of pain you’re in, and whether they feel it’s a concern.0

A call to your doctor will get you answer. There are so many different techniques that would affect the answer. Check in with them and let us know. Hugs!0

I agree that you need to call your doctor. I did not have reconstruction after my mastectomy but I still have times when I get random pain and sometimes it can be intense. I’m almost 5 years out from surgery. I just watch for pain that is chronic and try to ignore any intermittent pain unless it comes and goes often. However, I think this close to surgery, you need to consult with your surgeon. I hope you feel relief soon.0
