Hi, don't worry too much about being a buzzkill. I've been one since the 1960s-- IBS. I cannot eat foods that are hot. I have to wait for it to cool down or be in great pain or even the ER. For some reason this wouldn't post. A person can't even say Please- no ice water, just room temp water please---The waiters freak out and try to argue with you. Spain is the only place, where they say, OK and get me room temp water. I tell people- do you want me sick or what? if someone keeps asking you and they are not cooking the meal---Tell them that you don't want to get sick. I find it much worse to be in the ER doubled up and having explosive diarrhea. I tell them that too.0January 2015

Survivor 215,
I joined the whatnext group fairly recently and really enjoy it so far. I just wanted to say hello to you as I was raised in Chesterton Indiana until I moved away as an adult. I hope that things are going relatively well for you at this time. I just wanted to let you know that it was exciting for me to come across a member of whatnext that is from an area that I still count as "home" I hope that you are having a good day today.0December 2014 -
