Hi Bj, I'm sorry I've been off the site for a while. I was having trouble posting until I finally got my new phone. Please know that you are still in my prayers and hoping that your treatments are tolerable and working. I know you may not feel up to posting, but know there are many of us paying for you and hoping to hear from you0January 2015

Hi bj. Just a note to see how you're doing and sending healing thoughts your way. Hang in there.0November 2014

Love, hugs and prayers to you this morning. How are you doing? I'm beginning to recover from last chemoembolization, but not there completely, yet. Having problems with continuing nausia, but taking meds to help. I hope you are doing OK with your treatment, or at least as well as expected. Some days it's a grind to make it to bedtime. Some days bedtime becomes whenever you can't sit up anymore! Take care, post a note when you're able and hang in there!0November 2014

Hugs, love and prayers to you! Am still recovering from second chemoembolization. Everything still tastes yucky from chemo. Glad your sister came to see you. My surviving sister lives about 600 miles away, so the phone is our only option right now. It must have felt good to have her with you for your treatment. You can tell someone what it's like to go through all this, but for them to actually be there to see is a whole different thing. You got to 73, and I got to 75, so we must have something going for us! Hang in there, and remember you have a lot of prayers going for you!0November 2014

Hi Bjhorine,
I'm so sorry about your recurrence. I constantly worry about that.
I had the "Dose Dense" chemo regime for four cycles. Going in for infusions every week for three weeks per cycle was rough and I definitely looked forward to my one week off. But the advantages far out weighed any inconvenience. Fewer side effects, more effective, less damage to my body, 2-3 Hours per treatment Instead of 6-8 Hours convinced me it was the best choice. I do recommend getting a port if that is an option. I don't think I could have tolerated getting an IV placed every week.
I wish you love and healing and I will add you to my prayers.0November 2014 -

We tough old birds have to stick together! I'd like to follow your journey. I just had chemoembolization on my liver four days ago. Feeling very tired, weak, and washed out! It will gradually get better in a couple of weeks. The procedure is supposed to gtive me more time. The cancer is not curable, but can be controlled. I'm sending lots of prayers and thoughts to you. Hang in there!0November 2014

Hi bjhorine, sorry to see that your latest test shows multiple abdominal tumors. this is what I was faced with last Sept. When I was diagnosed with IIIC ovarian cancer. if you have these results within a year of your initial treatment it is indicative of platinum resistant Cancer and warrants a different therapy. I am only eight months in remission and it is still too early to tell how effective or ineffective my treatment has been. I see you are seeking possible second opinions, smart, you have to be your own advocate, you have to see all options to make the best decisions. I want you to know I very much identify with you and am wishing you all the best. Take care. Please keep in touch with all of us.0November 2014

HI and welcome. I just read your good news and I am so happy for you! I just had my next to last chemo treatment today and have a scan scheduled for the end of the month. I hope my news is as good as yours - the last scan was clear so I expect good news this time too.
Do you have any special plans for enjoying your summer now that you're in remission?
Again, thanks for the terrific update - you really made me smile with your happy news!
Hugs,
