Hi my name is Marie how can I help you I'm going to Send my story, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Papillary Thyroid Cancer 2006
I had all my Thyroid remove after 4 years I had a reoccurrence
In 2010 they did a radical neck dissection. They took out 32 lymph nodes and 6 was Cancers I the I31 twice I was in isolation for 5 days.I find out my body rejected the radioactive iodine. I do not what kind of treatment the going to give me when then the cancer comes back. I am Remission. Remember

Hi, glad to see you posting. Sorry your not feeling well. I know about that waiting, it's one of the worst things in this whole process. I had to wait two months to go see my oncologist after dx the last time, seemed like forever and I was sure I wouldn't make it through the 2 months. Turned out I was wrong. Hope you do well with the radiation. Look up some of the posts on radiation here and get some of the tips on what it will be like and how to fight the side effects. Hello: I hope your surgery went well. Remember, this is a major surgery and you have to take it easy. I had a TT in 1997 and have had 5 RAI treatments.
