Heartiest congratulations.
I am in a FB group called "cannabis oil success stories" which you might like.
Stay well.0April 2018 -
Heartiest congratulations.
Stick with what you are doing. I was cancer free for a very long time after leaving a mold infested house and becoming a k nowlegable raw and living food devotee.
I took weird drugs to beat a little giftie of a botched chemotherapy session. It was rough as the drugs were an allergen but I routed the giftie. I fell off my good habits and a spot of cancer developed within a year. Having the spot of cancer excised early next month and struggling to return to my good habits.
Best wishes.0February 2017 -
Hey Elissa.....Good For You....There are a few on this and others that really don't like these other views. I was too afraid to do chemo two years ago and turned vegan that day. I juiced for about a year and stopped when my wife started to freak out when she found some old carrot juice on the ceiling....lol I couldn't take the Budwig but take lots of the same supplements. I won't take anymore scans and am still ok. I have a rare indolent form but it can change into more aggressive.....I was stage 4 and nodes lit up in abdomen, spleen, under the arms groin and lots in my neck. Many large ones in my neck and groin are almost gone.....still have a large one behind my head and a few small ones....I believe in this and am hoping for the best....good luck! Barry0October 2015

Elissa, I would really like to talk with you more about the wheatgrass and the cannabis oil, but off this site. Could you email me at fishercathy45@yahoo.com?0October 2015

I didn't realize how similar we were in diagnosis. What has your treatment been like? I had three liver resections, a Whipple, a lung surgery, radiation and am now on an oral chemo.0October 2013

Happy New Year Elissa: just checking in with some fellow PNET folks. How are you? I just got an Ultimate pro Ninja Blender- made me think of you and your diet regimne! You still juicing, flax oil etc? I've tried the flax & cottage cheese...yuck! Do you add stuff to make it taste better??0January 2015

Elissa…how did your doctors find out or realize that you had blood clots? I am curious because I already have poor circulation so how would I know if its from the clots? Thank you for your responses.0May 2014

Where do you get the cannabis oil?
Does it seem to help?
Florida is getting it soon but not sure if it is even the best kind.
Good Luck!

I have pancreatic neuroendocrine as well with mets to liver. I had liver resection a year ago and they can't find the primary tumor yet. Is chemo your first therapy? What was your ki67 level? Who are you seeing for oncologist/expert? There is a large group of pancreatic neuroendocrine patients on yahoo group and on ACOR. Org. You may already be aware of that, but those have been great resources for me in helping to decide what next. I live in Connecticut but am seeing Dr Warner at Mt Sinai in NY next week for consultation. I hope that you are feeling better.0August 2013

Hello elissa5,
How are you today?
My husband's CA 19-9 is rising. We have to wait until the end of treatment (end September) to have a scan to know what is going on.0September 2013 -
Hi elissa5,
Welcome to WhatNext.
I am the caregiver for my husband (77, pc adenocarcinoma stage IV).
I read your post about supplements. How do you use turmeric? Several friends told me about it this week.
How old are your children?
My positive thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.0August 2013 -
Hi elissa, yes I could take 2 ambien if the Dr. would give me 60 pills a month, but she won't.
I could try a different drug, but I have been taking ambien for awhile now and I like it,so I really don't want to change. I don't know if this is a new law or just a recommendation from the FDA. My onc had no problem giving me 10 mg so, maybe I'll ask him about it. I hope you're feeling well and have a peaceful weekend. Zoe0August 2013 -

Good morning Elissa- so sorry to read that you've got cancer! Do you know where the primary is? Mine is pancreatic w/liver mets stg 4. It sounds like you have been to a lot of doctors! I live in the Atlanta area , get Sandostatin shots here, and go to Moffitt with dr. Strosberg each few months... He's the specialist and 'lead' dr. I've found that it is a MUST to have a top specialist monitor your case!
Regular oncologist are not very clued in on the neuro endocrine stuff. It's too rare... So. Their experience is too limited. On this site you will find names of those who are the best!
While a cancer diagnosis can feel very isolating, you will see on here that you are not alone! Have you checked out Zebra Zone? PanCan action network, carcinoid foundation, etc... There are a lot of sites!
I also attempt to supplement my medical care with nutrition etc... Have you read about turmeric? I try to drink the wheatgrass...but yuck! Not easy for me! Do you have any recipes that make it easier?
I hope you are not in pain! I hope the very best for you as you take this journey! I find that being very intentional about positive thoughts, prayers, and actions helps!
Blessings!0August 2013 -
