Hi Pam, I was wondering how you're doing on the Stivarga? I'm set to begin a clinical trial this week. It is also an oral chemo. If for some reason it doesn't work or side effects are too bad my Dr mentioned Stivarga. Hoping the clinical trial goes well but was just wanting to see how things are going with you. Thanks!0April 2015

Hi.. I asked NanaL the same question, but what is TAS102? I am currently on Hercepin and Stivarga. I noticed you had been and are now on TAS 102. I am trying to see what options there are if I need to stop My current chemotherapy for any reason. Well informed is well armed ;-) Thanks for any information. Sue0August 2015

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it.
After initial surgery, and a round of chemo, I thought I had cancer licked. But, it's returned and it looks like more chemo.
My wife asked the doctor about prognosis, and he gave me 5 years (an average, but still). Hard to wrap your mind around it. Especially when you have kids.
Best of wishes to you, Ron0September 2014 -
Hi WISmom! I am originally from Wisconsin, too, but moved to Brisbane, Australia about 12 years ago. How are you finding the FOLFIRI? I was on it for more than 18 months, but had to stop it due to side effects (diarrhea that I could no longer control with the meds they gave me). Have been on adjuvant therapy for the past several months (5 FU and Avastin), which has stabilised my cancer and the side effects are very minor compared of the FOLFIRI. Hope your chemo is going well and your side effects minimal! Wishing you all the best! - Kelly0June 2014

Hi WISmom, Nice to meet you. What is the one thing you wish your support network would do for you? For me it is cleaning my floors. My husband does not see dust bunnies, but I see them everywhere. I can't bend over without causing dizziness and mild nausea. So I plan for which day I will be content to have semi-clean floors AND dizziness / nausea.0January 2014

Hope that you are doing well today. I do Folfox with Avastin as well. Is this your first time on Avastin? If it is be sure to keep an eye on your blood pressure. Avastin made mine go up to the point that my Dr put me on BP medicine. It seems to be working so I will take that side effect. I am wishing you the best with your treatments and have a wonderful holiday.0December 2013

Welcome How are things going? Looks alike you had surgery a month or so ago. I hope it all went well. Tell us a little something about yourself and your journey. How can we help? I'm about to "celebrate" the second anniversary of my fateful colonoscopy. My sister is 9 years out.0December 2013
