Woman in my cancer support group are doing 3D mammograms that can see through dense breast tissue much better than regular mammograms. Check for availability of 3D in your area. I think they said the cost was the same.

Hi I saw you wrote on my wall and I thank you for that. I was wondering how you are doing both with c diff and your treatment. My husband hasn't had any more trouble with c diff and I still keep him on the probiotics just to be sure. As of his last visit he is doing well and no cancer Thank you dear Heavenly Father.

Your shared experience about being hopeful and enjoying what you have really inspired me. I don't have cancer that I know of, but my mother, siblings ,aunt and grandpa all have. You can live your life looking after all of them and worrying about when your turn is coming, or follow your example. Thanks

Hi there - Just read your answer to how far you travel for treatment. Where in NYC are you? I live in North Manhattan.

Your Dx may require something different than what I had. In the past I have taken some chemo where they had to add something to the IV that protected my kidneys while the chemo drug was infused. They continued the IV drip of that drug for an additional twenty-four hours. They were monitoring me all the time making sure I was hydrated and measuring my urine output as a way to make sure my kidneys were functioning properly.

I suggest you ask the doctor or nurse what they are doing in your case to monitor your kidneys wellbeing.

Your story sounds like a horror story. I too have Marginal Zone Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma but I made the really difficult and scary choice to NOT go the Conventional Route of Poison and Burn....it didn't and doesn't make sense to me. It's like bombing an entire house to kill one person in one of the rooms. Even a drone strike has collateral damages.
You are mostly sick from the so called treatment not from the cancer.
I'm doing Total Raw Foods with NO GRAINS.....no bread was really tough.
I'm Juicing 4 times a day and taking anti cancer supplements and hoping for the best. I'm 68 and just want to do what feels right for me. I had no symptoms except some small nodes in 5 places. I could feel them in my groin and neck and 3 other small nodes lit up on my PET Scan.
Check out the hopeful and informative site below and also the China Study. God is a great nutritionist IF we eat what he designed for us.

Congratulations on completing your treatment! Your friend is fortunate to have you for support. Your being a survivor just gives her the inspiration to fight on!! Prayers that she will also be a survivor soon. Don't feel bad, girlfriend!! If none of us ever graduated where would be the hope?!

I noticed you had mentioned to Nicki that you didn't know why but her posts were appearing on your wall. That is because you are following her. When you follow someone all of their posts will appear on your wall so you can keep up with what they are doing. Let me know if you have any questions.

Both your mind and your body are fine-tuning themselves to accommodate each treatment. This is a big help. You are into the routine now; there may be some minor differences from one treatment to the next. Getting a wig and adding a smile may make things look even better.

Glad to hear you are so happy with your progress. Keep smiling.

I wanted to say thank you to you. You have been very supportive and helpful while I've been waffling back and forth on surgery or second opinion. You are a smart lady and offer some sound advice.
