You answered a question I asked about tumor profiling for endometrial cancer that had spread to my lungs. You wrote about a post you made regarding freezing lung tumors. I can't seem to find or access this link. Can you tell me where you found it or give me a brief synopsis of the procedure? Thank you.0May 2013

Seeing you describe the discomfort in my chest as "squeeze" was brilliant. That is the best word to describe it. Thanks for sharing!0May 2013

I have been having lots of problems with my pain meds, pain mgmt doc put on 100mg fendayl patches 2 months ago and i was in lala land for a month, i finally just tore it off and went cold turkey, with withdrawals etc. The same doc then put me on dilidud and methadone. the methadone built in my stystem and almost stopped my breathing Again after a trip to the er and chest pain I again stopped the methadone, withdrawals etc. I have an appt Monday with my ongoloist and amrefusing to go back to that pain mgmt doc because he said those are the only pain meds avaivalbe to me,(I know better) I hope we can get my pain under control without lala land I already have to give lot s quialtiy of life0April 2013

Glad to hear you were able to find Livestrong at one of your Y's. It's a fantastic group. I started back in January. I've since completed the program but joined the Y when I was done so I could stay with the group. I've lost about 35 pounds and there are no signs of me slowing down. I honestly don't think I would have stuck with it otherwise. Good Luck!!0April 2013

thank you for your response. From what I am reading...seem to be good results from proton therapy but only a total of 20,000 have been treated since 2008...and that is for all cancers included not just colorectal. Still on the fence about it. Went to see my radiation oncologist and told him I had to either rule in or rule out the proton therapy before I could move forward....0April 2013

Hi CAS1,
Just wanted you to know that I met a 72 yr.old man this week who is a 20 yr lung cancer survivor. Told he had small cell iv and only 6 mo. to live. He had no surgery, just radiation and chemo.
He's doing fine.
No reason that we can't do the same!
Stay Well,
