Hi ColoradoCathy, I,too, have been diagnosd with uterine cancer. Am scheduled for surgery August 20. Your name is what originally caught my attention. I have a lot of family living in Colorado. How far is Buena Vista from Grand Junction? My parents live there. Also have family in Denver and Loma. Don't get out there often but I love to go rafting at Glenwood Springs. It is unfortunate you have such a diagnosis. I know a cancer diagnosis is never easy to deal with. A year ago I was dealing with lung cancer. That was an unrelated cancer to this one they say. I can sympathize with the breathing difficulties you are having at that altitude. I've had problems breathing on the Mesa and in Junction before I ever had cancer. One of the things I worry about is this cancer metastasizing to my remaining lobes. But if it does I'll just have to deal with it as any of us would.0July 2013
