I don't believe any one of them, if honest, would commit to a date in time because cancer is notorious for reappearing years after a remission or period of NED. I would embrace the answer you were given, it's acceptable, right? Best to you!0January 2019

Thanks for the reply. Was having a "lonely" moment. Feeling like I'm the only person with any clue about going through this.
I'm stupid. Lol
Appreciate you and your Kind reply.

Stupid is as stupid does and people, doctors included, can really be stupid. I can get rather snarky when people forget to think.
The cancer I had was in a different area of my body and some time back when hardly anyone had seen that type of cancer in a woman. The questions about my sexual activity were downright idiotic. Basically, I heard a lot of men (I spoke to eight oncologists) say a lot of very rude things and ask me about things they would be hesitant to bring up with their wives. I am guessing they thought my brains were in my nether regions ... because that is where they kept their heads.
Radiation is also quite damaging to that whole lower region. I explained to the radiologist who worked for the oncologist I had chosen that I would (again) walk away from treatment if I were to need to um .. close up my lower shop. The dude lied and lied and lied.
Nobody ever asked me where I had cancer while I was treating. That, in itself, may be telling of idiocy. I guess folks just assumed, since I am a gal, that my boobs were involved. .. or my unmentionables? I dunno.
The son of a female animal with four legs and many nipples radiologist had actually convinced himself that he was doing people a favor by lying to them to get them to treat.
Still, I am luckier than some ... and, since you are here, I suppose so are you. Best wishes.0April 2016 -

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/bone-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
