Thanks for the response! I had to stop my Doxil treatment for a month because my oncologist wanted to go back for another surgery. I live in Florida, so I have a feeling I will have the same heat issues as you! Thanks for the heads up, I will make sure to tell my doctor early if I start getting a rash.

Hi Arlene B! I'm starting Doxil next week and saw you started last month. How are you doing? I'm worried about the hand foot syndrome side effects...

Yes it does get better!! It took me 5 mo. to get off all pain meds, even motrin. I do take a anti-anxitey med called effexor. It keeps me from becoming a chihuahua dog, nippy. I feel more grounded on effexor 37.5. Hang in there you will feel better little by little everyday. )

Thanks for your input about Femara. I seem to be adjusting to it. Less tired after two months.

You can come here and vent or sound off when and there are people here who know what you are going through and are willing to listen. No question is silly or dumb because we have all had a question at some point and time in our lives that we thought was silly or dumb, but there was always someone there to answer with their experience pertaining to that question. I have been on tamoxifen for 1 1/2 years. The hot flashes are a pain but the hormone therapy got rid of a huge lump under my arm and so far I have escaped chemo - so no complaints - I also get a Lupron shot - do you? Hope you are doing okay.

I was diagnosed with breast that metasise to my bones in march I've been on armitrex it's working I'm going to be put on bone strengthened soon I'm got to have 2 teeth worked for a dental clearance first might get radiation on my ribs they hurt now then if you ever want to chat let me know I just turned 55 peace cheryl
