Back up, Lady. Disagreeing with you is far different than an attack on you. Noone wishes you ill. Everyone wishes you (and all of us) well and with regained health.
Just because folks do wish to play follow the leader with doesnt mean an attack or any ill will.
Best wishes0March 2017 -
Hi there lady, dropped by to find out how your doing with the treatments. Hope all is going ok, and the up days outnumber the down. Sending cyber hug and positive vibes.0October 2016

Hi Patriciaa, were you able to join the sisterhood? Did your doctor say you were platinum resistant? Have you started your chemo yet? How are you feeling overall?0May 2016

Hi. Hang strong. I found the carbo/gem protocol easier than the carbo/taxol. Not much bone pain, etc. and my hair grew back while on it. So...good luck.0April 2016

Patriciaa, do not know if I mentioned this to you in the past, but I belong to another site also, called The Sisterhood of Ovarian Cancer Survivors. This site has hundreds of ovarian cancer sisters. There will be many who can give you an insight into the Gemzar/Carbo combo. Just ask to join, then after acceptance, ask your question. All it takes to join is being a relative, caregiver,or survivor of ovarian cancer.0March 2016

You're in my thoughts & prayers!
Hope your CA125 increase isn't due to anything major!

(My CA125 seems fine, but I have the typical scan anxiety until I hear good news- it was a week ago, so I should hear soon.)0March 2016 -
Hi Patricia. Thanks for the follow. Please be advised, I can be a bit of a sarcastic expletive deleted. But I'm also a pretty good cheer leader. And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that those levels drop back under 35 @ your recheck. Let me know if I can be of assistance.0February 2016

Hi Patriciaa1963, read your update and am sorry the xxx CA 125 is rising, however, I am sure you have read that this does not neccessarily mean a recurrance, thus the wait and see. I wish I could give you a hug, I know the waiting is the worst. I see my gyn/onc on March 11th, with my blood draw at the end of next week, and the anxiety has already started. Please keep me posted teal sister on your progress and feel free to talk with me anytime.0February 2016

Hi Lady, glad you are continuing to do so well. Wishing you continued good health and exams in the coming year.0December 2015

He's been to my appointment and heard what they would say and some of the issues I would be having after treatment. I can talk to him but he's like oh ok. You'll be ok. It takes time. To understand them well I'm the rock and if I'm standing upright notjing is wrong. They never really ask how I'm feeling even in general. So to expect anything else I would have to be near death like when he rushed me yo the er after my 2nd Chemo trestment. I was really really near death and all they at the time was worried why I couldn't get up and eat. They had no clue. But when the drs at the er said if you would of waited ant longer it would of been diffetent.0July 2015

Hi Patriciaa - I saw your comment on my trip to Portland. I didn't get to see my uncles on this trip either (one's in Portland and the other is in Woodburn) so I HAVE to come back soon! I will let you know when I do and we can connect if the timing works out for you.0May 2015

Hi Patriciaa1963, thanks for sharing so much of your journey. I am about four months ahead of you on my journey. I am now 68, was diagnosed in 2013 with IIIC ovarian cancer. All of us have our bald chemo pictures, your head better shaped than mine was. Now months after chemo have thick curly hair with a mind of its own. I have been in remission now for ten months and know well the anxiety that builds before any exam or test. I hope you continue to share your journey.Ask questions and help answer others questions. I wish you continued good exams. All of us on WhatNext are here for each other.Take care, talk anytime.0January 2015

Hi Patriciaa1963 and welcome to WhatNext.com. I was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer in October 2014 at age 58 and just finished maintenance chemo. I am so happy to read of your success. It makes me so happy to know that even though we were stage IV at diagnosis, we can thrive after treatment.
Congratulations and welcome! Look forward to hearing more from you in the days to come.0January 2015 -
Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/ovarian-and-fallopian-tube-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
