Hi Marty64. I was diagnosed with Stage2 HER+ in 2018. Being told you have cancer IS traumatic. But, there is so much they can do now. I did chemo first and had a very good response. It was followed by surgery and all my tissue came back as "responded to treatment" - so it was gone before they even removed the areas affected. Then radiation which I found to be easy, but I know it can be hard on some - I was lucky. It will be four years in August since I was diagnosed and I am doing really well. I bet you will too! Please don't hesitate to ask anything here, between us we have seen/done it all.0May 2022

I am confused, you want to stop your treatment? I had a similar regime that involved 6 infusions spaced at 3 week intervals. You need to discuss this with your doc, get a second opinion if you are in doubt. I wasn't offered the perjeta because at the time of my treatment it wasn't part of the gold standard. I am still here 5 years later.0May 2016

Welcome to this site. Sorry that you had to find it, but you will find it to be so helpful. I have learned so much here It looks like you are facing a lot right now. My diagnosis is similar to yours, and I completed all of my treatment a little over a year ago. The only difference is that I did not have Perjeta. I think it became available during my treatments. Feel free to ask any and all questions. Someone has already been there. Good luck. Take care.0March 2016

Hi Marty64, I too have Her2 positive and no ER or PR. Mine was Stage II when diagnosed as well in 2011. I had bilateral mastectomy with chemo before and after surgery. Welcome, Cheryl0March 2016
