How is your dad surviving holidays? My friend is in a procedure to do stent.
Do you know how captain Bob is doing?0December 2012 -
Hey Freebird:"-)
Happy holidays to you and your family.
Did your dad opted for a stent? We are going to OSU day after christmas for that procedure. My friend's billerubin is still quite high about 8.0. We need it to be around 2-3 to be considered for clinical trial. He feels terrible.0December 2012 -

Hello I was just stopping by to see how your dad was doing?0December 2012

Jim been turned down from IU for clinical trial because he is jaundaced. Stent is not an option. Admitted to OSU in columbus to install a drain to relief bile that backs up in his abdomen. It might buy him more time. I am terrified of this procedure.0December 2012

My friend turned yellow week ago. Because he is jaundiced he is no longer eligible forIU clinical trial. So we going to OSU on Monday. The stent placement is not an option. The way tumor grew . I am so not prepared.....0November 2012

Thank you for sharing your story today. I am new to all of this and often scared and angry. After a successful brain surgery, which showed a benign meningioma five years ago, I thought my nightmare had ended. But, two weeks ago, I was rushed to the ER for a rapid heartbeat and during a routine chest Xray, and then a further CT scan it was found that I required a lung biopsy. After this procedure, a doctor at the hospital diagnosed me with Stage IV lung cancer, -there is more and because off this great site, I got the name of the IU Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis and have gotten a second opinion there - and I am hopeful - I am grateful for this site and the people here, who, like you have, share their stories and experience to those of us who feel as if we are climbing a mountain in the dark.0November 2012

Why the mandala? I've watched the monks make them - wow! I've also watched the destruction. We've had lots of involvement with Tibetan Buddhist monks - housed them numerous times. Lots of fun.0November 2012
