WHERE ARE YOU??????? SEEMS LIKE YOU ARE FOLLOWING ALL THE NEW PEOPLE BUT NOWHERE TO BE FOUND WHEN WE NEED HELP WITH THE SITE. SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOURE GATHERING INFO YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS TO. HMMMMM0March 2022

Hi. ColbyR, what’s going on with WN? New people join, but they’re left floundering — except for a few of us who are gamely trying to support them and the site — because we have no real support from you and DaveWaz (if “he” exists). We hear nothing back to our pleas. I feel like a fraud when I welcome new members by saying we can help.
WN dangles its lure to cancer patients and survivors, but there’s really nothing the other end. Have you and DaveWha? decided to let WN die? If so, why not let US know, and why not just remove WN from all places (such as Facebook) where needy cancer patients can find it?
PLEASE bring us up-to-date. I know you’re busy and times are tough, but it shouldn’t be hard to at least reply. Thanking you in advance,

Hi, Colby. Questions don’t get posted under the Questions link anymore, just to the wall of the person who is asking the question. Is it possible to fix that? It’s a vital function. Please, please fix it. Or is there someone else that can help? Thank you!0August 2021

Hi, ColbyR. I hope you’re doing well.
I’m writing to ask if you can see to it that our questions go directly to the Question part of this site, instead of to the questioner’s wall, where no one knows the question exists (unless someone happens to check that person’s wall). Most problems on this site seem to have been fixed, and I appreciate that. I hope you can get this problem solved, too.
Thank you.0August 2021 -
Colby, I agree with MarcieB. WhatNext will die — IS dying — because this site has no moderator taking care of it. Greg built a unique site where cancer survivors and caretakers could meet to exchange not only information but form bonds. I’ve been to other cancer support sites. Nothing is comparable to WN in attracting people and keeping people comforted and informed over many years.
If you aren’t able to do what’s necessary to keep this site relevant to oncologists and survivors who feel strongly enough about WN to recommend it to those who need it, please find someone who will. Greg kept WN vital throughout his five cancers and their sometimes horrific treatments. Please don’t preside over WhatNext’s demise. Thank you.0July 2021 -
Hi Colby! As a long time member of this site, I am missing the opportunity to help others who are currently experiencing what I was when I was going through my cancer diagnosis and treatment. I am so grateful to those who shared their experiences and advice when I really needed it. I hate to think of those people who come here seeking support and their voice isn't heard by those eager to help. I think if the WN tech people were to fix a bug in the site that doesn't post questions that are asked to the "Question" page it would improve the situation greatly. Please let me know if there is someone else I should be reaching out to in order to correct this. Thanks in advance for your help!0August 2021

Colby, are you REALLY our monitor for this site? If so, why hasn't there been any new questions posted in the last 17-18 days? It is NOT because we are not asking questions, because the questions we ask appear on our own personal walls - which does no good because no one knows they are there. We are struggling to communicate in spite of the problems, and it is difficult. Already two people have said they could not take it anymore and have left. there's going to be more if this can't be resolved. Can you help us? Can you tell us how this works? Who is responsible for this site - bottom line?0July 2021

Colby, I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I too was diagnosed at age 50 with stage IIIC colon cancer. I went through surgery and 6 months of chemo and now 22 months NED. Please don't hesitate with any questions or concerns we may be able to help you with.

Colby, my profile is set to receive email notifications about activity on the site. I have not been receiving emails for some time. I believe lack of emails to individuals is having a detrimental effect on our site and reducing communication to a serious degree. Is there something I can do to help get our emails being sent again?0May 2021

Wanted to introduce myself. I've been the regular writer for the WhatNext blog posts for the last three years. I wrote a book for cancer warriors after my year-long treatment with Stage IV rectal cancer - CANCER: The Light at the End of the Tunnel, available on Amazon. It won the 2017 Georgia Author of the Year Award for Best Inspirational Book in the Secular category. My passion is giving back and trying to help people find hope within their diagnosis. I am still NED just over six years after diagnosis.
I hope that blog posts will continue to be part of WhatNext, and that I can continue to be part of the team.
