    Hi, Natalie,
I'm so sorry you have had to go through all this! It sounds miserable in addition to being scary. I wish you all the best as you recover. Feel free to vent here or ask questions as someone has always experienced what you are going through and you'll get support and suggestions. I too have Kaiser and received great care through my double mastectomy. I'm sending good thoughts your way and ((((hugs)))).

Hey - I see we are both Stage 4 and 54 - I am ER/PR + , but HER2- let me know if I can help you out in anyway. Other than being tired and major hot flashes I do very well. Let your life take over this - don't let the cancer live your life !!!

You have been through alot - some similar to mine so more extreme. Keep the faith! The hardest thing I found was to let people into my life - strange isn't it. I know with time this to shall pass as they say. You are a strong person!

Welcome to the site. I think that you will find this a friendly place to come when you need to sound off or vent from anger. We are all here to listen and help, if we can, because at some point and time in each of our lives we have been in your situation. Please don't be afraid to ask questions either. No question on this site is silly or dumb. We all have questions we would like other opinions on or answers to. There are so many nice people here that it has helped me get through my fears I had when I was DX'd with DCIS. Good luck in the future.

    Natalie,
I was so sorry to hear of your very trying experiences. That's putting it mildly, isn't it? I've known people with C-dif and my heart goes out to you. Also, the weight gain with steroids when it's difficult to exercise. Before being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (also in lungs and bones) I did aqua-aerobics and walking. Now I'm tired and aching. I did do the swimming this morning. Trying to get back into it. My last chemo was May 1. Now on Sept. 6 my hair is very short and very curly and I'm starting to be more energetic. I just take femara.
The best of luck to you.
