Survivor - Oropharyngeal SCC 2004- stage 4B-radiation, chemo, etc...and HBO treatments for severe burns in throat - but here I am...congratulations, and keep fighting...

Do you have long term side effects? I do, major difficulty in swallowing, lack of saliva, very dry mouth, Neuropathy in hands and feet, large scar from Peg Tube, developed a blood clot during treatment, thankfully it is walled off, had to have a filter put into the main aorta though to prevent it from going to the lungs or brain. Hearing loss from Cisplatin, lots of others that I forget about!

Doesn't matter though because I am cancer free right now, Have to go back in February for another Pet scan, but am hoping that all is well!
