Thanks very much for your feedback on my question about sleep. Exercise is a huge help for me and many others. Not sure I have the energy for Zumba, but more power to you!
I just started taking magnesium again and it does help my tight muscles, even a pulled groin I got months ago. Meditation and gratitude are also part of my practice and I just recently began talking to my Angels. I read they don't help you, unless you ask them to. So, I'm asking more and thanking more.
Sometimes when I'm awake in the night, I just start praying for everyone I can think of. It becomes a kind of meditation and helps my brain calm down enough to go back to sleep.0March 2015 -
Hi deb I just read your profile. I need your advice on neuropathy. I had 16 rounds of AC/cytosine and Taxol ended in December. Lumpectomy, Now in Number 4 of 33 radiation treatments. My toes and feet really hurt along with the numbness and tingling. My hands bother me too but not like my feet. It's gotten a little worse instead of better. I have other lingering side effects but this is the worst. What advice can you give? Thanks so much..

Thank you for your comment on the 'twins' analogy. I've loved it for years, and in our current hour of need it couldn't be more consoling. xox0August 2014

Hi debco, did you finally have your DIEP? And if so how did it go? How are you feeling? I did not see any mention of it on your "journey" except to say you were getting ready to have this done. I am seeing my PS tomorrow and just rounding up some questions for him. Thanks for any info.0April 2014

We'll be going through it at about the same time! My diep is scheduled for 9/24. I'm ready! My GP told me to work out like I never have before to prepare. Build up my chest and belly muscles - get a personal trainer if necessary. I'm already eating the best foods I can. Good luck Debco148 - I wish you only the VERY BEST! It will be tough - but the easier route may not always be the right one. God Bless!0August 2013

debco148 That is EXACTLY what I would have done differently. I would have had both breasts removed instead of one. Thanks for posting.0July 2013

Hi, Well the day is quickly approaching and I must say, I think I'm handling it very well, in part because of you. So, THANK YOU!
I live in Sacramento, California and will be getting it done at Methodist Hospital. The surgeon is Dr. Amirijia, I did research on her but didn't get too much info on her. All in all I think I'm in good hands.0March 2013 -
Hi, thank you so much for your answer.... until your answer, I was thinking the "port" and "drain" were the same....now I know. She (mysurgeon) did say I would be measuring the output and thay would probably be awkward to do at first. I am 58, also named Debi.....Again thank you so very much!!0March 2013

Hi Debbie, I just started to read more down your wall about taxoifen and holistic treatments, etc. I am going to look at Marnie C's website and articles. I do have to say that I did do tamoxifen and then aromasin for th 5 or so years, eat very healthy, exercise, meditate... and it still came back 8 years later. I was working with an acupunturist before my surgery last year for a year (then it just got too expensive- health insurance does not cover it) but she felt that for me it was internal stress so I am doing my best to be aware of when I am pushing myself. Also no caffeine now, minimal, and I mean minimal sugar- just very special occassions and that goes the same for alcohol- red wine only. I feel like the 9 years of the drugs have dried me up and that bums me out. I guess it is pick your poisons or your options. I still have two sons home and I want to be here for them.0September 2012
