Tuckercat12,
Sorry you are going through this. Exercise absolutely helps/helped. Talk to your doctor about the side effects. I was changed 3 times before finding one that had the least problems for me. Doctors are very used to side effects and finding different meds that make your quality of life better! Let me know how it goes.0February 2014 -
Welcome! The WhatNextDigest said you were stage 1. Wonderful! I'm glad they found it early. I've been trying to eat and exercise in a healthier way, too. I'm good for a while, then not. I need to join a group, I guess. I am in a group for aqua aerobics. That's fun. But it's only three days a week and I usually just make it two. I should walk, but I'm too lazy. Now it's getting cold. I did a lot of walking recently during a ten day travel tour. My blood sugar improved a lot, even though I wasn't skimping on the deserts. I could walk on the treadmill at the fitness center where I do aqua aerobics. Okay, I'm going to do it! I'll try two times a week for the next five weeks. That's not a lot, but combined with the other, it isn't bad. Best wishes, tuckercat2 !0October 2013

Welcome to the site. I think that you will find this a friendly place to come when you need to sound off or vent from anger. We are all here to listen and help, if we can, because at some point and time in each of our lives we have been in your situation. Please don't be afraid to ask questions either. No question on this site is silly or dumb. We all have questions we would like other opinions on or answers to. There are so many nice people here that it has helped me get through my fears I had when I was DX'd with DCIS. Good luck in the future.0October 2013

Hi and welcome. I too was diagnosed with ILC three years ago. Probably the hardest thing I have ever been thru. I've been out of treatment since May 2011 and am on a hormone suppressor for 5 years. It is rough, but just know you will make it. Put yourself first, and treat all of you. If you need to talk or see a counselor Don't put it off. I did and I made it harder on myself being too tough Do what your body tells you to. Rest when you need to. Good luck and let me know if I can help.0October 2013
