Soni, you are never realy alone, when every body leaves you to yourself, spend time with God. He is always listening and waiting for you to call on Him. And remember, you are in my prayers, :)

    Soni,

Hi. I'm a little confused by what you wrote on my wall. My medical team wasn't all over the place. I had a choice between a lumpectomy and a mastectomy. I met with the radiation oncologist to discuss my options. I ultimately opted for a mastectomy and I'm glad I did. It got rid of all the cancer, I was spared radiation. I had no cancer in my lymph nodes, and through Oncotype testing I was spared chemotherapy. I'm now in my 7th month being cancer free. My medical team was definitely "not all over the place." Wonder how I gave that impression?!

I joined this site to hear from others that have gone through lung cancer. I had small cell lung cancer, I went through 12 chemo sessions, 37 chest radiation and 17 brain radiations. I did ok with the chemo but the radiation kicked my butt! I had a lot of esphogus issues during treatment and being tired. The brain radiation really knocked me out, short term memory issues, jumbled thoughts.....I have good days and bad days. I am in remission now for 2 1/2 years. I go in every 6 months for my blood work and scans.....I get pretty anxious about them. My oncologist is very optimistic tho so I thank god every morning I wake up.
I want you to know that I will be thinking about you and sending prayers your way.
