I found this site while in treatment, oddly also the same month I went into remission in 2013 and this date falls on my mothers birthday. Thankful that she did not have to see another family member go through this. I hope you the best and remember stay positive in all you do. It helps more than you know. Songs can really hit my emotions. I've had a few times of being a complete crying mess. July 9th was my one year Cancerversary. Seems like "reality" comes in waves. Have had a couple complete breakdowns in the shower and on the drive home from work. I do try to intentionally keep my cancer thoughts in a box, so they don't dominate every area of my life. I want to be the best mom, wife, friend, nurse and co-worker that I can be. Hugs and prayers, Pam

Karenrae, don't even bother yourself with this, now you just know what stand they have taken. Take care of your self and be grateful your parents are with you.
