Hi Diana,
I was just cruising around the site and wanted to say hi. Thank you for being such an appreciated member of the WhatNext family. David0January 2018 -
What are you doing to stop the progression? Vitamins won’t do that.0January 2018

Everyone has there drugs differently. I was on Letrozole until it quit working and the cancer spread. Now I am off that and doing Ibrance, faslodex and Xgeva. Does the Ibrance work for people ? It only is good for 9 months. Then what? It's too bad people have to worry about how to pay for the drugs. We have enough to worry about.0February 2017

I was dx with stage 2 BC when I was 44. 17 yrs later it came back other breast 17 lymph nodes. It's gone to my bones. I am stage IV, HER2+, estrogen/progesterone+. Now that the Femera quit working and cancer spread more I'm on Ibrance, faslodex, an Xgeva. Just starting I hope it works. But I know it only works so long before the cancer starts spreading again. Hope they keep finding something new for us.0February 2017

I have been on Ibrance and Femara for about three months. I am stage IV wth mets to spine and ribs. I was taking 3 weeks on 1 week off 150 mg. But i could not tolerate the ibrance and white blood cell count very low. Since changing to 2 weeks on 1 week off and 100 mg, I am doing much better. When i am taking the ibrance, i do notice being more tired and more nauseated. I am also loosing a lot of hair. But side effects are tolerable and my blood markers have really improved. I get a pet scan early march. I believe the ibrance is doing a lot of good and my body seems to have adjusted to this drug so side effects are less. Other than the hair loss!0February 2017

Hi, I saw you answered that Acupuncture does work for hot flashes. I am going to try it during my first Chemo treatment in 8/25. How long did you do it before you noticed a difference in them and is there a particular type? Thank you very much0August 2014

Hi dianalynn....got the results of Pet scan and it was all clear!! Even the spot on the sacrum was gone. Although tumor markers dropped almost 200 points they are still not normal But I figure I have 3 months of smooth sailing until markers are scheduled again. Hope you are well and enjoying the nice weather. Catch you later.....:)0May 2014

Hi dianalynn, I see from your profile that you are stage 4 for 4 years. That's great! Gives me hope. I just got stage 4 diagnosis recently. I am going for PET scan next Tues. I am currently on Letrozole. What are you getting? Hope it is working for you and that you feel OK. Catch you later.....:)0April 2014

Hi Dianalynn. I saw your reply to Christine's post and then decided to read your wall. I noticed you were stage 2 er/pr pos which is what I am. Then I noticed further down on your wall about Lupron. I basically talked my doctor into giving me Lupron now (starting next week). He says it isn't recommended for early stage blah, blah and I told him I wanted to be as aggressive as possible now in hopes to stay where I am at... cancer free. Do you also take tamoxifen? I hope you feel well most of the time. Hugs - ROAR0March 2014

Hello Diana,
Thanks for following me.
So you were diagnosed 4 years ago with stage IV. What treatments did you have and how are you at this time? Thanks0January 2014 -
I like what you said about regrets-but follow the heart. I worry, she might not have a supportive family life. If she's worried about getting through treatment without support, she should think of the unrelenting physical misery of dying without support. You just don't say- I feel bad-I'll die tonight without committing suicide.
If I was still married to my husband, it wouldn't have been good at all.0December 2013 -
Hi, are you on tour now? or are you going to tour only in the fall? I'm being a nosey rosy. I hope that you have a good New Year0December 2013
