Dear binks1961, just checking in to see how you are managing with your cancer as you haven't posted in awhile. I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with Uterine papillary serous carcinoma and we are trying to get some idea of what the future looks like... Thanks for any info/guidance you can give!

GoOD luciK on your journey. i will finish 28 rounds of radiation this week i did/do have side effects. not pleasant but double i have
stage 1 endometrial ca with myoMETRIAL INVASION

What's green tea extract? I drink green tea, not familiar with extract where do you buy

Body pain would start 2days after chemo, Neulasta shot day after chemo added to it. Breakthrough is when pain overwhelms what you normally would take. I have stress fractures in my back so the constant meds, oxycodone would give boost. They say if you let pain takeover harder to control. In past I've had shots in back to control (the one people died from few years ago) and shots in knees for lack of cartilage.

Have spinal stenosis, osteoporosis. So started chemo with bone issues. Other than that health pretty good (or was) . Internist handling pain medication. I take a lite morphine and had oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Pain was big issue, couldn't eat, sleep, drink. But for this felt handled chemo pretty good.

More--iron low take FEC (Walgreen behind counter). B6 and B12. Very low on Vitamin D, take 5000 IU a day. Of course all of this with Oncologist suggestion and permission. He thinks possibly has help with blood levels through treatment

Hi, Binks, name is Judy. Have 2C serous carcinoma. Just finished 6 rounds of chemo. I'm 73.

Carboplatin/Taxel. 6 rounds every 3 weeks. No radiation. Dr said outside too much damage not worth it and doesn't think can do internal because vagina shrinking. Oh, Neulasta shot day after chemo. Went in with neuropathy and it is much worse. If I can help you with questions, let me know. Of course we are all different.

I am on Taxotere,(Sister of Taxol)?? Carboplatin and Avastin. The first set of chemos I had Paclitaxel, ifosfamide, mesna given while hospitalized every 3 wks. Good luck with your upcoming treatments.
