Hi Billy22, you asked me a question on another question since I was stage IV OC that had to do with my CA125's. my answer is as follows: Billy22, right now as of last month it was at 36 after 2 out of 3 years of treatment. I get my next numbers next week. I was originally diagnosed early stage in 1995 and was 17 years remission when diagnosed stage IV. I did 8 treatments of taxol/carbo and the original 4 tumors were gone. I then went the next year with no treatment until lymph nodes started acting up and had to start treatment again I only did taxol then and all nodes were unnoticable except for 2 which shrunk in half. My number has gone up 1 point each month since my last treatment in December which is not bad but then again it is worrisome as it is going up, but I do not think about it much. My highest CA 125 has been 128 and was only 98 when diagnosed. I am glad your wife is enjoying a good quality of life. I did the same while on treatment because I refuse to let it get me down and I am still enjoying it0March 2015

Was diagnosed with EC end of Sept 2014! Had about 3 months chemo and 28 radiation treatments. Was scheduled for operation when I discovered a small lump in armpit! Biopsy showed malignant! Had PET Scan and showed no metastasis. But still residual disease in Esophagus! Still say I can never have the operation! Insurance refused more radiation (claimed it would damage the tissues?) and waiting for more chemo (probably delayed by insurance?). I have a feeding tube. Wondering where I should go from here! My oncologists are great!0April 2015

Hi Billy, I have sent you an email concerning sharing your story in our WhatNexter of the Week posts that we do on our blog page. Your history of surviving EC for 13 years would be an inspiring piece to all those who are just getting diagnosed and those who are currently fighting. Take a look at the email and I look forward to hearing from you. Stay well!
