I am going on 14 years as a survivor of EC (T3N1M0). I am now 79 and still fit as a fiddle(how ever that is). I had 26 radiation sessions, 2- 96 hour infusions from a fannie pack (5FU AND CARBOPLATIN) and MIE surgery at UPMC.

I am an esophageal cancer stage III survivor of 16 years. We created the Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation www.fightec.org in part to help patients with their journey through this disease.

We have co-authored a book called 100 Questions and Answers about Esophageal Cancer published by Jones and Bartlett and you can get at any book store.
