Hi AnnyKay, I noticed you are receiving treatments for Lung Cancer. I was wondering what type of treatments you are receiving. How long did it take for you to feel better? I've been taking Gilotrif because I have EGFR marker. Its been a week and I guess I naively was hoping to feel a lot better already! Thanks, Rob0December 2014

Hi AnnyKay, I just saw your response and so happy to hear your good news. My onc said if the Tarceva stops working, there are some really good trials. The first thing would be Gamma Knife as long as there is nothing new in my body. She mentioned the Immune one also.0January 2015

I registered a few months back but have not had time to read or post. I checked in today to see how this site works and there you are. So glad to hear, your doing well.
I will post a quick summary of myself and get back later.
I will be 70 on the 30th. A little or 2 yrs ago, diagnosed with Stage 4 NSCLC. Had a large 9cm tumor removed along with my lower left lobe. Was going to start radiation and found out, it had metastized to my brain. Three spots and I do have the EGFR so I was able to take Tarceva orally everyday. During the first 6 months, my spots shrank but now they are stable. Doctor's gave me 1-2 years and could only offer "quality of life".
Must go for now.0December 2014 -
I have a question for you. I was just diagnosed at the end of September wth non-small cell lung cancer stage 4 very aggressive. Mine seems to be just causing a ton of pain, new one all the time. Wass that how yours was?0November 2014
