I Anagdl.......I take Curcumin, Reishi Mushroom Extract, IP6, Green Tea Extract, 20 mg. of Melatonin as my mainstay.....I can't afford the doses I'd like to take. I also take ginger and a few others. GO to PubMed and type in these supplements for cancer and doses that were used in some studies. I was a total raw foods vegan for a year and a half and then added Salmon on Saturday night in a Restaurant with my wife. I am really poor so I can't afford all I'd like....I juiced for a year but was too expensive. I was taking seven days a week a Powdered Green Drink from Garden of Life (Super Food)....I also take when protein powder and a Multi and some others.....Go to Chris Beat Cancer and see what he took. Read RADICAL REMISSION by Kelly Turner.....but a Vegan Diet mostly if no all raw is the best...Do some research.....and Good Luck! Barry

    Love back at you.

Check ME out below...I'm an OLD and getting older by the minute Singer Songwriter....One of the reasons I didn't do the chemo or radiation is so I wouldn't get the neuropathy in my hands and I wouldn't have been able to write any songs. SO.....I wrote over 50 songs since my diagnosis and if I die I die....No cure for death that I'm aware of....YOU ARE TOO Young but I've lived 69 years and never thought I'd make it past 1974.....lol

Hola! I had the same as you. Hope you are doing well. Looks like you are facing quite a journey. I didn't have chemo for my thyroid but I sure did for my rectal cancer. It's been 7 minths since surgery and I'm still quite numb. I had malignant lymph nodes in my right neck. They took out 36 and 7 were affected.

I then had RAI and since then no other problems. Followups have all been good.

Greetings. I see that you have chosen to follow me. Please let me know if I can be of assistance in any way. I was diagnosed w/stage IV endometrial cancer about 2 & a half years ago. I've completed treatment and am currently NED. I do tend to be a bit of a sarcastic something or other, just so you are warned. But I'm also supportive when that rather than an odd sense of humor is called for. I hope things go well on your own journey.

Sending positive vibes right back to you! Things are going well here. Just getting over some stomach issues. But feeling pretty strong now. As far as who to talk to about your illness, figure out which friends you trust the most. Maybe it is one person, maybe it is three or five. But find a group and confide in them. Mine was about 5 people who I told all the details. It is good for you to be in therapy. Just having someone to talk to about it is huge. But having a true friend to talk to is even more important. I am actually talking to a psychologist myself. I find comfort in opening up with someone who has experience talking to people with chronic illness. So far so good! Hang in there.....I am thinking about you.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/thyroid-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Thanks for your note! Things really have gone fast for you. I know that feeling. I was diagnosed in January, had two surgeries (March and April), have had RAI and 5 weeks of radiation treatments. So it has been a wild year. Luckily my latest blood work was good and I can take a small break from the treatments between now and my next blood work in October. Not out of the woods....but making good progress. Love your positivity! Keep it up....it is what has kept me going thru all the mayhem.
