You hang in there, svaha. I am 67 years old, have had 2 major surgeries and really nasty chemo, and I'm pretty sure people our age are plenty tough. I'm still going strong, I hope, although there is "something" in there that shouldn't be, and I'll have another CT scan very soon to see what it may be. Meanwhile, I'm doing my music gig, gardening, learning to shoot at targets, and having fun. I kind of like that silly old saying, "don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff."

I was thinking of you and it sounds like a thumbs up so far, for your chemotherapy! ! ! What is the plan for the frequency and duration of your treatments? I will be following in your shoes before long.

Wow! I did not expect a reply so fast! Thanks, for reaching out to me. This has been a whirlwind couple weeks since my diagnosis. I know I need to reach beyond family and friends, to people who have walked in similar shoes.

Svaha -Just wanted to share that I was diagnosed with Stage 3 endometiral cancer in Dec.2011. I had chemo and radiation - both external and internal.
I never experienced any problems with my skin.

Hello, Svaha, and welcome! Looks like we share the same diagnosis. I had a total hysterectomy where the diagnosis was made through pathology, then entered the land of chemotherapy followed by radiation. I was through with treatment in July 2012. I found that there are many caring people here who will do their very best to answer questions and support you along the way. Many blessings to you on your journey.
