All the Best! I was diagnosed in 2011 with small cell. Low left love was removed, then chemo and radiation. I was said to be cancer free in 2014. Believe in yourself and your strength and fight. You can beat this!

My husband also has small cell lung cancer. He's had surgery, chemo and radiation. He's stable. We now waiting for his next scan to take a peek.

I hope this will give you hope, SnoopyMoody... I have a friend who was diagnosed with late stage small cell lung cancer over 5 years ago. She was not expected to live. She has not only lived, but thrived. She is 5 years cancer-free in fact. Amazingly to me, she has never stopped or even slowed down on her smoking ... and she smokes a bunch. Still, her scans are clean every year!! (She fought her cancer with chemo and drinking wheatgrass every day.) So, there's lots of hope!!

Best of luck on Friday!!! I would be scared, too, but getting that cancer out will be GOOD!!!!
