Mark my friend, I hope you are well. With brain tumors interestingly, the number 1 reason for seizures is scar tissue and not the disease. Scar tissue accumulates from surgeries or radiation and then interferes with the communication between synapses. Exercising should not make a difference. However, not knowing what meds you are on might be a determining factor. Working out while on opioids or anti-epileptics is never a great idea so you might want to check with your doctor first. Best of luck and I hope you can do what you desire to do. I think it is great that you want to keep in top physical condition, Carm.

MarktheMan, I have noticed by your questions that you have many deep concerns. I am an oncology nurse and I have had experience with these tumors. I am going to send you my private email just in case you should have any questions or concerns that you might not wish to post on the public board. Please feel free to contact me at anytime. Many patients do, Carm RN.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
